Welcome to Troop 2G's Website!

Troop 2G was established in 2019 and is chartered by Faith Lutheran Church in Flower Mound, Texas.

We are a very active troop and camp on a monthly basis. We meet every Thursday (except for Lewisville ISD holidays) at the Faith Lutheran Church, 6000 Morriss Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028.

Lodge option for adult non-campers during Troop Mount Davis Campout(Oct 11-13)

Hello Parents,

If you like to explore outdoors on Columbus day but do not feel comfortable camping at the camp grounds, then we have an opportunity for you to stay at the lodge and join the Troop during their excursions to Marfa Lights, McDonald Observatory and hike. We have located two lodges which are near the Troop camp sites.

Swim Testing for Summer 2025 - FINAL CALL

The Troop is offering one more date on the evening of Sunday, May 18th for Scouts and Adults in Troop 2 to complete the swim test locally.  Due to demand at the LISD and Flower Mound Aquatic Centers, we are choosing to use a private pool this year. Scouts and Adults who are attending Bartle Scout Camp this summer need not test ahead of time as Bartle conducts their own tests. All other Scouts and Adults camping this summer are encouraged to complete the test.

The Troop is coordinating swim tests on May 4th (and potentially one other date TBD) for Scouts and Adults in Troop 2. Due to demand at the LISD and Flower Mound Aquatic Centers, we are choosing to use a private pool this year. May OA Ordeal Registration Link (May 16-18)

Congratulations to those who were chosen for the Ordeal ! The May Ordeal dates have been announced (May 16-18) so please sign up ASAP. This includes those who were chosen last Spring but have yet to complete their Ordeal. The time limit is 18 months.
